On Friday we joined Erin and Alec for a hike in Boulder. James and Alec are just about 6 weeks apart and are very similar in their interests. They both love being outside and they had a blast together on the hike. The hike for the boys improved exponentially on the way down when they got to get out of the packs and hike on their own. Alec can seriously move down a mountain, and anytime he fell James would point and laugh. James then shared with Alec his dog poop joke which both boys found to be hilarious. They also showed each other some of their yoga moves and thoroughly enjoyed each other's company on the way down the mountain. James calls Alec, "Attic," and continued to talk about his "Attic hike," and "Attic dog poop," joke all weekend. Here are our two little mountain climbers at the top.

The only thing more cute than a toddler is a pair of toddlers. The way they interact is hilarious -- I'm glad James has such a good friend in "Attic" :)
