I can not believe that we are already on summer vacation! This was a great school year for both boys, I am so proud of them! Mac ended his first year at BellaVita going 2 mornings a week. He loved going to school each day and playing with all his friends. All his teacher this year loved him and always told me how sweet and how polite he was. I couldn't ask for better compliments than that! Next year, he will stay at BellaVita one morning a week and start at Central in their preschool program. Here he is on his last day.
He has changed so much since the first day of school!
I can't believe that James is done with Kindergarten! He could not have had a better year at school. We absolutely LOVE Central and we all loved his teachers this year. He genuinely looked forward to school everyday and was so upset about the end of the year that he cried himself to sleep the night before his last day :( He had such a wonderful year and has changed and grown so much. He can read chapter books on his own, writes multiple page stories, blows me away with the math concepts that he understands, and is just so excited about learning and school. His teacher wrote me an email on the last day that about made me burst with pride. Here is an excerpt just because, where else can I brag about my kid like this? "James is one of the most friendly, creative, and enthusiastic kids I've had the pleasure of knowing. He is so genuinely excited about learning, which rubs off on the other kids--I love that about him!" I could not be more proud of the my official 1st grader!
First day/last day comparison-
James and his teacher, Mrs. Strain. She is moving up to teach 3rd grade and we all hope he is lucky enough to get her again in 3rd grade!
We have a lot of fun planned for this summer and I am hoping it flies by since by summer's end, we will have a new little boy to add to all this craziness :)
