Well, this whole blogging with 3 kids thing is clearly going well. Benny is almost 4 months old and I am just now getting around to his 3 month update! Once again, Benny's 3rd month flew by! Between the boys' school, working from home a little bit for HCB, helping Tim get his new practice opened and the holidays, it has been a whirlwind aorund here!
The highlight of Benny's 3rd month was when he started sleeping through the night, a good 8-10 hours straight! This miracle was rather short lived and was quickly followed up by what I have learned is the 4 month sleep regression. Our awesome sleeper started sleeping worse than he did as a newborn! Oh well, I knew it was too good to last!
We all continue to love every second of Benny and smother him with snuggles, hugs and kisses pretty much all day, every day.
The older Benny gets, the more obvious it is how much he resembles Mac. These Santa pictures look identical to Mac at his first Christmas! As much as they look alike, their personalities are pretty much opposite. Benny is possibly the most laid back baby ever. He is content to just hang out and take everything in around him and rarely fusses. The only time I hear him fuss is if he is hungry or tired. His schedule is very predictable, so it is pretty easy to guess when he is ready for a nap or ready to eat and he stays perfectly content pretty much all day long!
The boys continue to absolutely adore Benny. They love to hold him and try to make him smile and try to hand him toys. They were both very excited to shop for his Christmas presents and are anxious for him to be able to play with them.
Getting a big smile out of Benny is pretty easy, but Tim is the best at getting him to laugh. He can get a pretty good chuckle out of him anytime he tries. He hasn't done a full on belly laugh yet, but he definitely has an adorable little laugh that he mainly saves for his Daddy.
We are excited to share our favorite time of year with Benny and include him in all of our holiday traditions.
