Last night we had Erin and Alec over for dinner. James has been very anxious to make Halloween cookies with the new pan that he got from his Ama, so I figured last night was the perfect opportunity. They spent most of the evening swinging mixing spoons around yelling, "Baseball!" and then throwing the spoons to the floor and pretending to run the bases. Between pretending to play baseball and fighting over James' little tractor they still managed to find the time to help make, decorate, and eat some Halloween cookies.

Getting ready for some cookie dough mixing!

Mashing the dough into the pan-definitely the best part!

Showing off the finished cookies.

Tasting-James liked it but still just ate about one bite. He never goes too crazy for sweets, so I let him try just about anything now.

Discovering that the sprinkles were his favorite part. James kept saying, "Needs more, needs more!"

And incase you did not think that the schnoodle could get any fatter than this, here is what happens when we left the kitchen while the cookies were baking. I am not too sure a half batch of raw sugar cookie dough was what the vet had in mind when they put Jax on a diet.

Watching our 2 boys play together just melts my heart. They have so much in common and are such typical boys. And having James help me bake makes me irrationally excited for baking Christmas cookies soon!!
