Today we went to check out the grand opening of a new exhibit at Longmont's museum called Little Builders. They had free hard hats and a bunch of trucks and tractors outside the museum for the kids to climb on. James was pretty excited to see so many trucks up close. As you can see from these pictures, trucks and tractors are pretty serious business to this little boy.
Erin and Alec and Holland and Riley joined us, and Alec was just as impressed with the trucks and tractors as James was.

Inside the museum there were a lot of neat things geared at toddlers, so all the kids had a great time. James was so busy, it was impossible to get a picture of him actually looking at the camera, but here are some pictures of him enjoying exploring all of the construction related exhibits. It was insanely crowded today (I think a lot of people were enticed by the free hard hats and trucks like we were) so we will need to go back on a normal day when it is not so crazy.

That looks like a lot of fun! Free hard hats are pretty irresistable!
I wish we lived closer -- that museum sounds fun! Can't wait to see you tomorrow!
Looks like a fun day. Love the hat. James looks like he was working hard painting. Is he looking for work because I just decided that we need to paint our hallway :)
I vote to let his hair keep growing out!
Hey-we need to paint the basement...does James want to come help out?
