Never have babies 9 months apart. Taylor spent the day with me and James on Friday while Steve and Amberly went to opening day of the Rockies. It was fun. For about 10 minutes. And then they both were ready for a nap. Putting 2 babies down for a nap at the same time=impossible. At least for me. James needs to be nursed to sleep and Taylor needs to be rocked and neither one of them is obviously old enough to be left along to play quietly while the other one's needs were attended to. 2 1/2 hours later they miraculously both were asleep and actually slept for over an hour! Woot woot! On the plus side, when they were both awake and happy, they were very cute and love watching each other. My dad was in town again for Friday night and Saturday and so he got some more quality James time. He will be in town several more times in the next few months so we are excited for him to be able to see James on a semi-regular basis. James is starting to laugh more and more. He was cracking up at his Grandpa this morning and at Steff when we went to the park this afternoon. His laugh is my favorite sound. It is the sweetest thing I have ever heard. He likes peek-a-boo now and cracks up when we play it with him laying on his tummy on the bed while we duck down on the side of the bed and then pop up to surprise him. He gets more and more fun to play with everyday. I had to go buy him some new toys this week because he now reaches out for things and likes to hold on to objects. He loves things that crinkle and that have different textures.

James is at such a fun age! I hope he likes Jack Rabbit's crinkly ears. Uber cute pics!
