Happy Half-Birthday James!!!

I cannot believe that James' first year is half over. It has flown by, yet it seems like forever ago that I was pregnant and we didn't even know him yet. It is pretty incredible how much things have changed for us in 6 months. James has gone frome being an itty bitty baby who wasn't even supposed to be born yet to a smiling, laughing, almost sitting up little boy! Compared to his baby pictures, he doesn't even look like a baby to me anymore. It is pretty amazing how someone that we have only known for 6 months has become the center of our universe. We truly cannot imagine our lives without James in it. And here are the top 6 things you should know about James on his 6 month birthday: (shout out to Jodi and Ben)

1. He loves to snuggle, especially when he wakes up from a nap and you pick him up, he buries his litle head into your neck and it melts your heart. (can you tell that him being 6 months old has me a little emotional?)

2. He has discovered Jax and likes to tug on his fur and watch him.

3. He still loves being naked more than anything.

4. He can almost, kind of, sit up in a tripod position using his arms to hold himself up. For a second or two anyway.

5. He is getting a lot more hair, and he has one exceptionally long hair right on the top of his head that sticks straight up that Tim loves.

6. He likes to read 3 books before nap time-no more, no less-and he has a strong preference for anything Sandra Boynton.
