James is very lucky to have 5 Great Grandparents, 3 of which are my Grandparents who all live in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. My parents were also there this weekend so we made a quick trip to go and see everyone. Oklahoma is the 8th state that James has traveled to and the 10th round trip flight that he has made-pretty good for a not quite two year old! James and I enjoyed seeing everyone and James enjoyed showing off his walking and talking-both of which are new since the last time he saw any of his Great Grandparents.
James got in some quality reading time with both of his Great Grandmas.
Bartlesville's hottest tourist attraction is Woolaroc so we had to make a stop so James could see all of the animals. He liked the horses and llamas the best. The ostrich was his least favorite by far-it freaked him out.

Waving to a steer from the car. On the drive in to Woolaroc he got to sit up front for a better view of the animals.

Sitting on grandpa's lap while he drives-that's the way we roll in Oklahoma.

On Saturday a lot of my dad's family came over to my Grandma's for dinner and James was so happy to finally see some other kids. He loved playing with my 2nd cousins (his 2nd cousins once removed??) John, James and Krista. He copied every little thing that Krista did and wanted to be thrown around by John and James.

I'm so jealous! It looks like a fun time- and all of the great-grandparents look fabulous. Zephyr will have to make the trek to OK soon! (and his hair doesn't look so bad...)
Let me make it perfectly clear that we were not on a public road and were only going about 5 MPH when I let him sit on my lap. I am afraid Jenny will never let me take Zephyr anywhere after seeing that photo.
And he did not have an open bottle Pepsi and a moon pie in his hands....please note.
Doesn't every destination need a drive-thru zoo? I think so.
Also, Alex noticed James' haircut and he thinks he look quite jaunty.
All the G-parents look great! Glad you had a good weekend.
