Keeping Cool

Tim has been at home with us all month so far until he starts his new job on the 28th. James and I love having him at home during the day, and he loves spending so much time with James. While Tim was in his residency, during the week he would typically only see James for 1-2 hours before he went to bed at night, and some nights he would get home after James was already in bed, so he is definitely enjoying this extra time with James. One of the good things about moving to Longmont is Tim will be able to see a lot more of us because he will have such a short commute. He will even be able to come home for lunch sometimes.
We have mainly been keeping busy with all the things that goes along with selling our condo and buying the new house, but on Tuesday we took the day off from house stuff and spent the afternoon with Hollland and Riley. We went swimming at Michaelle and Ed's pool which is so nice. They are keeping it nice and warm for Riley, so it was perfect for the babies. Riley looked super cute in her ruffle butt swim suit, and James loved splashing around and playing in the water. Today spent the day doing things for the house again, including buying a washer and dryer. Fun, fun times. We are trying to pack some things up after James going to bed at night, but it is hard to motivate when there are better things to be doing like blogging. In other news, Tim passed the boards test that he studied so hard for and took a while back, so he is now a board eligible pediatric dentist, he will be board certified after taking the final part of the test sometime in 2009.Riley and James before swimming. Don't they look thrilled to be posing for pictures?

Who needs mommy and me swim lessons when you have your own pool?Thank goodness Tim's pale skin requires him to be in the shade often so that he can look after the babies while Holland and I lay out in the pool.

Looks fun! I wish we could go swimming too! Congrats to Tim on being such a smartypants. Zephyr can't wait for him to clean her teeth in a few years.

Looks like a fun time. I knew Tim would pass the test - I told you so! (one of the few times it's not rude to say that) In that picture Riley looks a lot like Chris. Keep on packing!

No one is surprised Tim! But we're happy and proud of you anyway.

I see some Holland in Riley.

Haha, that's great...Tim definitely should stay in the shade :-) You should probably get him a swim cap with flowers on it too.

Both babies are so cute!!!!

Don't worry Tim, your paleness is rivaled only by my own. Congrats on the boards! Love the baby-mommy pool pic.
