Saturday was the Mont's annual fire truck parade. They had scaled way back compared to previous years, but there were still trucks with sirens blaring down Main Street, and trucks to climb on at the park afterwards, so James and his friends were happy.
Checking out one of the trucks after the parade. This little remote control fire truck and talking dog have been at every parade in Longmont that we have ever been to (that is a LOT of parades). James had been terrified of it every.single.time he has seen it. Until Saturday. He decided it was the best thing he has ever seen and spent most of his time at the park after the parade seeking it out.
Trying out the fire hose.
Mac was thoroughly unimpressed with the whole thing. I thought he would hate the sirens, but he didn't care at all. He spent most of his time in his stroller or being held and eating his mum mums. I have a feeling he will be much more into it next year :-)
Being attacked by his big brother while waiting for the helicopter to land.
Hanging out with Baby Gus. (if you want a cuter version of this picture, head over to Anne's blog.)
Watching the helicopter land.
This parade really just made me excited for the next big parade in the Mont-the Halloween parade! How can October be so close already? I have some birthday parties to plan!

Haylie must have gone to the Fire Truck Parade with her dad because there are pictures of her on facebook that look very familiar to yours! I'm having deja vu! Looks like a little boy's dream.
