Oh Christmas Tree

On Saturday we cut down our Christmas tree with the O'Reilly family for the second year in a row. It is such a fun tradition and one we are so happy that they have shared with us! The weather was insanely nice and there wasn't even any snow on the ground. James and George liked digging in the dirt with sticks and looking for bears better than looking for the perfect tree.

After some hiking, Tim found the perfect tree for us and James helped him cut it down.
Mac slept through the whole thing in the wrap.
After cutting down our tree and the O'Reilly's 4 trees (they are serious about Christmas) we went to the fire station for lunch and Santa visits. James is an old pro at Santa Claus after last year. He told Santa he wanted a Toy Story thing and that Mac wants a Lovey. When pressed for details, James elaborates that he wants a plastic Buzz Lightyear in a box.

We wasted no time in decorating our tree and putting up all our decorations as soon as we got home! James is SO excited about Christmas this year. So excited in fact that he randomly yells, "I'm so excited for Chirstmas!" throughout the day. We can't wait to enjoy all of our favorite things about the holiday season with both our boys this year!

ZP is excited for Christmas too- she REALLY gets it this year! So fun!

Plastic Buzz Lightyear in a box, huh? Well I hope he's not too disappointed when his Aunt Jenny sends him pretty much the opposite of that. Hope Santa comes through!

Everyone needs an Aunt who ignores what you really wants and buys you sensible socks and warm under ware, don't they.
