Our good friends Luke and Laura who live in Santa Fe drove up on Friday to spend the weekend with us. We ditched James on Friday night and spent the night downtown and ate ourselves into a food coma (a recurring theme of the weekend) at an amazing restaurant. Saturday after a huge breakfast at Snooze, we spent the day in the Mont where James became 100% obsessed with Luke (aka-Grandpa Potato-no one knows where James came up with this one) and we basically had a free babysitter the rest of the weekend. Here they are playing bicycle shop this morning.
James was enthralled with the fact that Luke and Laura have 2 bald cats-the scary cats in his Cat book. We need to go to Santa Fe this summer so he can see for himself.
This morning we ate another enormous breakfast at Lucille's and then spent the day finishing our garden and planting flowers. James spent all day outside and found an endless amount of activities to entertain himself with like giving his tractor a bath. We are so glad it seems like nice weather is finally here to stay!
We leave Tuesday morning for 6 days in Chicago, so I will update when we return. Have a great week everyone!

I can't even begin to tell you how jealous I am that you got to eat at Snooze and Lucille's all in the same weekend -- my favorites! I love how James names people -- the creativity never ends :)Have a fun trip!
