We had a great rest of our trip in Florida. We lucked out with weather and had great days everyday but St Patrick's Day. We spent a lot of time at the beach and on the boat. James also enjoyed playing in the pool. I wish we lived near a beach because James could spend hours entertaining himself with nothing more than a shovel and a bucket anytime we were at the beach. We got to see a lot of Tim's family-Grandpa Joe and Jean, Uncle Tim and Aunt Polly, Cousin Katy, Cousin Kenzie, and Gabby, who were all down there at the same time as us. James loved all of the attention he got from everyone and as usual was a pretty good little traveler. He adapts very well to being away from home and his typical routine. He slept great in his big boy bed and took naps on the boat most days, and some days not at all. We feel lucky he is so flexible with his routine when we are away from home, it makes it so much easier to travel.

Helping Papa drive the big boat.

Papa makes sure that the pool is nice and warm for James whenever we come down. I think he had it at around 90 degrees for the week.

James' favorite beach activity was digging in the sand. He liked making things out of sand and telling us all about whatever he was making. He also loved singing one of his current songs from music class whenever we were at the beach-
She Sells Seashells by the Seashore.

The beaches in Marco are super soft white sand and then tons and tons of shells, sand dollars and starfish as you get closer to the ocean. James liked looking for shells and throwing them into the ocean. He did not like getting too close to the water though because he thought the waves looked scary.

Heading out to look for shells with Mimi.

Saturday we had the best weather of our whole trip. We took all the boats out to a small island and beached them for the day to hang out and have a picnic. James got to ride on the little boat which he loved.

Our last night we went to Resident's Beach to watch the sunset with just the 3 of us. I tried to re-create of
the picture I took of James and Tim on the beach from 2 years ago at sunset. For just using my little point and shoot, I am pretty happy with how they turned out.

Now we are back home and expecting snow today. Boo! We are over winter!
